"Verified" means a formal pay circular or published rate table exists and the figures were read from it. "Provisional" means an award has been announced but the formal circular has not yet been issued — currently Northern Ireland for 2026/27.

Where We Present a Scale Differently from Its Source
Not an error in the source, but a difference worth stating. Some published band 2 scales list two pay steps at an identical salary. A pay step you cannot be promoted into, at a salary you are already on, is one pay point, so this site shows it as one. The money is the same either way.

What We Never Use as a Source
Figures are never taken from another pay calculator, an aggregator, a jobs board or a forum post — only from the body that publishes the rule. Copying another site's number means inheriting its errors without inheriting its reasoning.
