Your Calculations
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. The band, hours, pension and student loan options you choose are processed on your own device and are never transmitted to a server, logged, or stored. Close the tab and they are gone.
This is not a policy choice that could be reversed quietly. It is how the tool is built. There is no server-side calculation to send anything to.
Shared Links
The "copy link" button builds a URL containing your settings: band, hours, options. That link is assembled in your browser and is not sent anywhere by us. If you share it, whoever receives it can see those settings, so treat it as you would any other message about your pay.
Saved Settings
"Save to this browser" stores your settings in your own browser's local storage. It never leaves your device, we cannot read it, and the "Forget" button deletes it. Clearing your browser data also removes it.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies.
Analytics
If website analytics are in use, they are configured to collect aggregate, anonymous data only — pages viewed, approximate country, device type — with no personal identifiers and no salary information. No advertising or cross-site tracking is used.
Third Parties
No third-party fonts, scripts, or trackers are loaded. Every asset is served from this domain, which is also why the site loads quickly. Links out to sources open on the publisher's own site and are marked as external.
Server Logs
The hosting provider may keep standard access logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser type — for security and troubleshooting. These are not used to profile visitors and contain nothing you entered into the calculator.
Your Rights
Because no personal data is collected through the calculator, there is nothing held about you to access, correct or delete. If you contact the site by email, that message is kept only as long as needed to reply.
Changes
Any update to this policy will be published on this page and noted in the change log.
